CampaignLint workflow guide

Check an approved promotion against exported Klaviyo email HTML

Use a final template export for a local offer comparison. A screenshot can show a correct-looking button while hiding its actual href. An HTML export lets you compare the supplied text and destination before the send-time changes happen.

A practical check

  1. In Klaviyo, open Content → Templates. On the exact final template, use its additional-options menu and Export Template. Copy the HTML from the export modal into a local .html file or the CampaignLint one-variant paste box. Make sure this template is the final version used by your campaign.
  2. Copy the approved offer and literal coupon into the quick check. Use the actual text button label and the approved HTTPS destination. For a multi-country campaign, assign each exported file to its own campaign-sheet row, rather than applying one country’s copy to every file.
  3. Compare the exported HTML, fix the campaign source and export it again for a recheck. Then send a fresh test through Klaviyo and review the delivered result separately, including personalized coupons, tracking wrappers, mobile layout and recipient targeting.

Example

Approved CTA: Découvrir
Approved destination: https://shop.example.com/fr/printemps
A text button with that label pointing to /en/spring is a mismatch.
A wrapped or relative URL that cannot be resolved locally is explicitly unverified.

Know the scope

Klaviyo’s official export guide describes Content → Templates → additional options → Export Template. It exports template HTML; this is not a capture of the delivered MIME message and it does not prove campaign audience or post-send tracking. CampaignLint has no inbox-reading or automatic Klaviyo integration. Dynamic coupon creation problems require checking Klaviyo’s coupon setup and a delivered test; matching the literal coupon text cannot establish whether a code can be redeemed. Image-only creatives and Outlook conditional markup require manual review. Campaign sheets and input files stay in your browser.
