CampaignLint / Campaign brief checks

Same campaign. Different variants. One final check.

Compare final email HTML with the approved offer, coupon and button destination for each client or country. Spot leftover copy and wrong destinations before handing the campaign over.

Free checks work here without installing anything or signing in. The optional Chrome extension is available in the store.

Fictional three-variant campaign · inspect the actual inputs

All the links have valid UTMs. Two variants still need fixing.

The approved UK offer is “Save 20%” with code SAVE20 and a /uk/spring button. Its draft retains Save 10%, SAVE10 and /uk/winter. The French draft matches its brief; Client B’s button still goes to Client A.

  1. Load the three-variant example in the tool below and compare all variants free.
  2. Inspect each approved value and the actual value. Select “Recheck corrected example” to reproduce the change.
  3. For your own work, start with one approved offer or import a campaign CSV. Compare one variant free before choosing Pro for batch work.

Matching text rules is one part of QA. This does not check image-only offers, subject lines, native email rendering, recipient selection, working coupons or destinations after redirects. Dynamic and conditional markup needs separate review. The example is synthetic; it is not a customer result.

The mistake it catches

A correctly tagged link can still go to last month’s page. A copied email can still say SAVE10 when the brief says SAVE20. The check compares your explicit approved values with each named HTML file.

Where it fits

For small email teams and agencies reusing promotional campaigns across clients or countries, with approved copy and exportable HTML.

It complements your existing workflow. Checks have a defined scope, and outputs tell you what remains untested.

A short guide to the task.

Choose the check that fits your workflow.

For general link, merge-tag and spelling QA, ShelfCompass offers a free beta. CheckMyMail offers free analysis and custom rules; its paid cloud plan is €9/month. Custom rules or a manual checklist may be enough for a single email.

Klaviyo Composer also offers campaign and message QA. If your existing ESP tools or AI workflow already check your approved values satisfactorily, use those. We have not benchmarked Composer against this task.

SendLint offers a broader copy-deck QA suite, including rendering and document comparison. CampaignLint focuses on a small CSV brief, local HTML processing and several named variants in one pass. Its batch convenience is what Pro charges for. These are current vendor descriptions, checked 6 October 2026; we have not tested their paid features.

Use the extension when capture helps.

You can paste your input and run free checks here first. Install the optional extension from the Chrome Web Store when capturing a standalone final HTML preview helps.

Install from Chrome Web Store · v0.2.0

The store extension includes the approved-brief comparison and the existing URL checker. Capture is for a standalone final HTML preview you explicitly confirm, with no inbox or editor adapters; uploading the exported file gives a clearer scope.
